Position Title: Recruitment and Onboarding Manager

Overview

Fathym provides the building blocks for entrepreneurs and enterprise customers to create custom Internet of Things solutions. Fathym lets you fuse data from various sensors, devices and data feeds into one data management and visualization platform. Our dynamic on-demand app creation engine lets you build consumer-facing apps that can combine Internet of Things functionality, multi-media sharing and content management.

 

Management Structure and Reporting

Directly to your team lead.  You will work closely with  recruiters to manage sourcing, interviewing and employment processes. You will also work hand in hand with executive leadership and HR to own the recruitment, hiring, and employee onboarding experience to ensure we hire qualified employees to meet our current and future needs.    

 

Some of Your Duties & Focal Areas

    • Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
    • Report on recruitment performance and track recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
    • Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting, talent acquisition partners, passive candidate acquisition, technology-focused recruitment solutions)
    • Review recruitment solutions and partners, including cost/benefit analysis,  and suggest the best option for company needs
    • Manage contract relationship with recruitment solutions/partners
    • Research and choose job advertising options
    • Recommend ways to improve our employer brand
    • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
    • Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform functional managers about changes in regulations
    • Participate in job fairs and career events
    • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners
  • Develop and own the employee onboarding process, including intake, company policy compliance, functional training, productivity tools, culture and ethics.

 

Qualifications

    • Experience recruiting for technical resources, preferably in an Agile development environment
    • Proven work experience as an HR manager, recruiting manager, trainer, and/or employee onboarder
    • Hands-on direct experience with applicant tracking systems
    • Knowledge of current labor legislation
    • Familiarity with social media, professional networks, and technical recruiting solutions
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders; i.e. technical developers, business leaders, and users
    • Self-starter with strong decision-making ability
